The etymology of the jam comes alive in the music of France's Dondolo. First heard of back in '03, Dondolo dropped Peng, which was later snapped up by Ladytron and put on their Softcore Jukebox mixtape, is a bubbling hi-fi field jam. Now Dondolo's back, with three solid 12"s last year on Tiny Sticks and a forthcoming album Dondolisme... which- from the tastes I've gotten off Alainfinkielkrautrock and this saucy megamix- is probably going to blow up like Kanto '23.
