Ever since the heavy spike in hits to TRP that began about a week ago and has continued ever since, I've been hesitant to post (I'm also in a gradual transit from the east coast to the midwest that will take about a week and provide me with few high speed wifi opportunities). Anyway, I'd like to thank all our readers for supporting us, and the artist's for making great music. So, yesterday's post was essentially leftovers. I mean its all been covered on the big blogs, and if you haven't already bought the Kitsune Maison, Love, and Midnight comps or all the 12"s you surrender to them. But, in an effort to post lesser-known bangers, I thought today I'd whip out my tokyo ghetto pussy.
Trancy Spacer & Spacy Trancer are the names Rolf Jam and Mark Spoon (of Jam & Spoon) use to record their Tokyo Ghetto Pussy singles. They're German, btw. Though each of the 4 singles (and remixes of those singles) they've released over the past ten years are all fucking sick, they all sound alike, trancy but four to floor techno with a whole lot of rave sounds thrown in to make this impossibly awesome happy hardcore. Rainbow neons and german fist-disco shit.
You're going to really like this song. TGP's first single, this goes back to 94.

Their most recent track, Fly Me to the Moon (2002), was a little too over the top for my tastes, and I really couldn't stand the vocal part the first time I heard it. I didn't warm up until I heard this edit, which really brings out the best in this track and even stands up to their classic mid-90s work.
