Speaking of Delia, back in the day she spliced tape alongside David Vorhaus and Brian Hodgson, collectively known as White Noise. Their 1969 LP An Electric Storm is a mélange of psychedelic pop, musique concrète, and electronic avant-gardism which sounds curiously like Stereolab or Broadcast at times - but those bands weren't around back then, White Noise were in a league of their own.
