Black Girls Want To Give It Up

To be honest, I never thought much of Numa Pompilius until this year. I mean, yeah, bro was a bit pushy with his polis, but this was motherfucking Rome, people. However, these prior forgivings have evaporated, along with my zest for life as it has been literally sucked out of me in this hellmouth of a month. Yet, I suspect the heat waves and hate waves are receding to the tempered embrace of Autumn and I rejoice. So, here's all the shit I've uploaded in the past month but have been too bummed out/uninspired to post. Looking forward, never back.

Here's one thing to look forward to: on Thursday, September 13 in the year 2007, THE Silver Apples are playing at my house! Only our lord Simeon knows how fortune sprung from this spring, but it's happening doders and you're all invited! Expect more info soon, but here's one the killer bangers (or is it banging killers) released on the superb Bully reissue of 'The Garden' last year to whet y'alls appetite.

Silver Apples-The Lady and the Clown

Sharing the stage that night will be a very special lad and his beloved one-bit processor, rocking that chip harder than an Atari (okay, that's cheesy--sorry). Tristan Perich and his one-bit music project is Arnold Dreyblatt boiled down to bleeps, bloops, and infectious hooks that could rock a club almost as easily as it could a gallery. If Battles were to be boiled down to one person and one bit, this fellow has achieved that feat. Check the madness of his liveshow on da YOUTUBE. Oh, and did I mention that the CD plays itself?

Well, while we're traipsing around the broke-ass NY electro arena, it's as good of a time as ever to talk about Car Clutch, the diffusive duo of Brendan Fowler of BARR and Ethan Swan. Imagine Excepter staying in that four to the floor and not drinking that tea, imagine Depeche Mode crying, and above all, imagine having sex during a car crash. With these images stored safely in your data bank, you too can envision what a live show by these cool runners is like.

Car Clutch-We Just Passed the Truth

Alrighty, and here's a bunch of other bullshit I haven't managed to post. Godbless you all.

Betty Botox-Conny

Aaron Martin-Darwin (ooooooh, do I like this American. Been getting more and more into solo instrumental incursions and excretions and this boy's mix of stupid-smart melodies and field recordings is making for a fine 6am soundtrack these days. Give patience to this song and you will be blessed--3 minutes of confusing clutter evolving into a point rotation that will make your third eye cry.)

Thomas Fehlman-100 Bäume (If you even remotely like The Field and you haven't picked up Fehlman's Honigpumpe, well, I feel kinda bad for you)

Jackie Mittoo,Bagga Walker,Pablove Black & Devon Russell-After Christmas

Smith N Hack-Falling Stars

Twista feat. Pharrell-Give It Up

Eve-Tambourine
