DOME REVERB - TROUBLE AND BASS 07

The TRP crew may have been some of the first ones at the Trouble and Bass show last night in Brooklyn, maybe cuz Friday we got burned when we rolled up to the XI records show at theIllumination Project at 8:30 only to miss most of David Berman's set. Getting to Boogaloo for T&B at 11:00 may have been unfashionable but it was fortunate, it made getting in much easier than it was for the kids that came later (there were frisks), and we caught the optimal 7+ hours of FUCKING BASS that ensued. The party was off the wall, my dome was floored by the jamz. The whole T&B crew brought it for the entire time I was there, and and we stayed till 6. They played only cash tracks, all sorts of heavy bass I've sat around listening to in Iowa wishing I could be dancing to, the running theme was FOUR TO THE FUCKING FLOOR. Highlights for me were Audion, Third Eye Mafia, and Drop the Lime's otherwordly spider scratching. Also props to Mathhead and Reverend McFly for holding it down. Great time, I still have a saucy dome buzz.

i dont want to post any T&B because you should go buy their Bass Bandits vinyl at Turntable Lab, but here's a taste of something else to bass your face.

Audion - Hot Air (Mouth to Mouth B-Side)

Also, DTL has a new mix he just cut for Flamin Hotz which you can cop here (direct link, fixed)

If you're on the east coast, be sure to check out the party, first saturday of every month at Boogaloo in Williamsburg (details here). Thanx to Dirty Down and the Trouble crew for the pix. Myspaces for the djs are here: Drop the Limespace, Rev Mcflyspace (big ups to this guy, he did a deisel bmore set then gave me a hug), Mathheadspace, and Zack Shadetek.
