Fuck David Beckham

Tetine has apparently been doing it real big for a few years now, but Im slow to catch on. Just came across their album Bonde Do Tetao and it is banging. Its more on the CSS side of Baile Funk than most of the other Funk I listen to. Bruno and Eliete, the members of Tetine, are on Slum Dunk Records, the same label that put out that Funk Carioca compilation with the tan and red cover. Listen to this shit and check out their website www.tetine.net

I was cruising around myspace and came across this dude, Lil Law Tha Hu$tla, and his label Versatile. The beat on this is pretty dark, sorta old 3-6 sounding. His lyrics are not amazing, but they're at least as good as the shit on the radio. There really is nothing spectacular about this song, but for some reason I keep listening to it, so there is something going on. myspace.com/lillawthahustla

Another video I kept seeing in Amsterdam (see post a few days below) was the one for Eric Prydz remix of Pink Floyd, called Proper Education. The video is lame, but the song murders like all of Prydz's tunes do. Supposedly what we have here is a Daft Punk remix of the song, pretty hot.

New Jay Z courtesy of The Smoking Section. Off of Tru Life's new mixtape. Download here.

The Smoking Section also has up a session with 3-6 Mafia, check it out here.

Also, get familiar with this track. Shit's been stuck in my head for weeks now and even though this track doesnt fit in (at all) with the shit we put on this blog, it is hot fire, opera style.

If you're into toys, head on over to TTL, cuz they have the best action figure ever. Madvillain, baby!

As was astutely pointed out at http://ladecadanse.blogspot.com/ there is no fucking WAY that daft punk had anything to do with that eric prydz track
